Grunion Run, California
The Grunion Run is a bizarre yet fun event that takes places on various California beaches during both spring and summer nights when the females come up onto the shores during high tides to lay their eggs. There, the male come up to mate. Because of the unusual behavior, the shoreline becomes filled with beached Grunions. Hence, the Grunion Run. Fortunately for me, I have been able to attend two or three of these nights and they are most definitely a sight to see. The only tools needed, a bucket and a net!

Canary Islands
Following the previous post, I figured I might as well follow up on another one of the five best tuna spots in the world. After looking into it, I found the Canary Islands. These islands offer: Big-eye tuna, Whit tuna, Skipjack tuna, and both blue and yellowfin tuna. Because these islands are right in the middle of big tuna migration routes in the Atlantic, there is an abundance of tuna to be caught.

San Diego, California
Looking to reel in some monster Tuna? Well, according to Marlin Magazine, San Diego is one of the five best Tuna fishing spots around the world. I find this to be true considering I myself have been tuna fishing in San Diego. So, speaking from experience, I would have to agree on the degree of fishing the Pacific ocean offers. Yes, it does take some muscle to reel in this fish, but isn't that the fun part?

Sicily, Italy
In Sicily, sea bass are the name of the game. Ranging from anywhere from 1 to 3 feet, these fish are known to put up a pretty mean fight to any fisherman out there. Still, sea bass don't require too much prior knowledge or skill (other then knowing how to use a rod) in this area. According to most reports on the fishing in the area, anything that imitates small silver bait fish is the way to go when considering how to get some bites. Aside from the
abundance of sea bass, Sicily offers a unique and beautiful scenery that
is most definitely worth the trip. Not to mention, the food
opportunities a catch provides are endless!

Who wouldn't want to land a monster fish like this?
Obviously, to be successful at a place like this, you are going to need to be pretty experienced...and maybe have some muscle.
