Sicily, Italy

In Sicily, sea bass are the name of the game. Ranging from anywhere from 1 to 3 feet, these fish are known to put up a pretty mean fight to any fisherman out there. Still, sea bass don't require too much prior knowledge or skill (other then knowing how to use a rod) in this area. According to most reports on the fishing in the area, anything that imitates small silver bait fish is the way to go when considering how to get some bites. Aside from the abundance of sea bass, Sicily offers a unique and beautiful scenery that is most definitely worth the trip. Not to mention, the food opportunities a catch provides are endless!
